Michael has provided supply chain training & consulting to
organizations such as Michelin, UPS Logistics, Alcoa, GM,
Tennessee Economic Development, Georgia Power, CryoVac,
Snapper, IBM, Colgate-Palmolive, John Deere, Hewlett-Packard,
Toys ‘R’ Us, North Carolina State University, Georgia State
University, University of Tennessee, the NIST Manufacturing
Extension Partnership network, and more.
Prior to Trade Dynamics,
Michael was President & CEO of TradePath Technologies LLC, a
provider of hosted e-market solutions. The company
attracted $8 million dollars in venture capital and achieved a
market capitalization of $40 million dollars.
From 1994 to 1998, Michael was the President & CEO of UCE Corp., a
global Internet technology marketplace. UCE developed one of the first
"dynamic" trading exchanges on the Internet and innovated many
of the commercial exchange methods and technologies still in use today.
From 1987 to 1993 Mr. Jordan was President & CEO of General Data Corporation.
The Company developed technology and methods for improving
internal workflow and provided process re-engineering services
for ERP & EDI implementations.
Michael is a research fellow at Georgia State University's
Center for Process Innovation. Michael has
published numerous articles and white papers in the areas of
competitive strategy, Lean supply chain management, financial
collaboration in the supply chain, and networked enterprise
management.
Michael holds a B.S. from the University of Georgia and a
M.B.A. from Georgia State University.
